My heart and soul belongs to painting en plein air and I’ve been doing just this for as long as I could remember. I learned how to paint from my grandmother, also Catherine Rose, and further studied fine art at SUNY Purchase, NY. When I’m not painting, I’m feeding the birds and tending to my garden.  I am happiest when doing all three at once.

Tips, tricks and vendor recommendations are very much welcome for this soon to be bride! I learn so much from my couples cause gosh, do they know how to throw a party! Simply put, the couples I work with and I relate on another level than your average bride. We understand how important it is to have art in your life, romanticize every moment we can and we adore a unique and personalized flare to every occasion. It’s all about the details, and the small moments that matter most, am I right? I treat every wedding painting I create as though its my own. It’s difficult to watch them leave my studio but oh how I love seeing them so cherished!

For me, it is the most precious gift to have the opportunity to capture the art of life and love at its most potent for my clients. From the music, to the lighting, to the outfit you wear, showing up to celebrate what and who we love most undoubtedly resonates through generations time and time again. Your wedding will only last a day, but like your love, I will paint it to last longer than a lifetime.
